To enhance your experience, we may occasionally provide you with APK files for updates or exclusive features. Installing an APK is slightly different from the typical app installation from the Google Play Store. Here's how to do it:
Step 1: Enable APK Installations on Your Android Device
Android 8 or Above - Samsung Devices:
Open Settings.
Tap Biometrics and Security.
Tap Install Unknown Apps.
Select the trusted app you want the APK file to install from, like Chrome or My Files.
Tap the toggle next to Allow From This Source to enable.
Android 8 or Above - Non-Samsung Devices:
Go to your device's "Settings."
Tap "Apps & notifications" > "Advanced."
Select "Special app access."
Tap "Install unknown apps."
Choose the browser from which you'll download the APK (e.g., Chrome) and ensure "Allow from this source" is enabled.
Android 7 or Below:
Open "Settings" on your device.
Tap "Security."
Under "Device administration," toggle "Unknown sources" on.
Step 2: Download & Install the APK
Click the link provided by RIDEPLAY tv support
Tap the "Download" button to get the APK File on your device.
Once the download is complete, tap the APK file.
When prompted, select "Allow," "Yes," or "Install" to install the APK File on your tablet.
Step 3: Disable Unknown Sources
After successfully installing the APK, it's essential to disable the "Install unknown apps" setting for security:
Android 8 or Above:
Navigate to "Settings."
Tap "Apps" > "Special access" > "Install unknown apps."
Find the browser and toggle "Allow from this source" off.
Android 7 or Below:
Open "Settings."
Tap "Security."
Under "Device administration," toggle "Unknown sources" off.
